Every day, more of us are becoming aware of the importance of using natural products and ingredients in our day to day lives. At Shantae, we believe that understanding the contents and purpose of the products you apply to your skin is of vital importance to you. We believe in full transparency – with you as a customer knowing each and every ingredient that has been incorporated in your Shantae product.
It isn’t easy being a sustainable and environment conscious brand but when we come together – change begins. Growing a plastic free business has not been without its share of trials. All of our products are filled in glass bottles with metal caps or aluminium jars. These are further packaged in cardboard boxes, wrapped in paper and filled with recycled cardboard. Shantae is proudly a 100% plastic free brand. We encourage and incentivise our customers to either repurpose or recycle our jars.

With our products being shipped all over India, logistics came with its own set of challenges but we have stayed committed to our path of being a 100% plastic free brand. We believe we can make a difference and want to transform people’s attitudes about clean skin care being easily accessible (which it is!)
While we take our trade and our responsibility to our customers very seriously, at Shantae we believe in having fun while making our products and we hope you feel the same while using them. We believe when it comes to skin (and most other things) simplicity or a minimalist approach is best.
Uplifting our community
As our products grew, so did the team. We pride ourselves on being able to upskill women from different economic strata and add to their livelihood. We consciously chose to partner with organisations who shared our vision of being environmentally conscious, ethical and giving back to the community.
